The start of the FedExCup Playoffs provided plenty of drama, as Patrick Reed jumped from No. 50 in the FedExCup standings to No. 2, just one spot behind leader Brooks Koepka and earned 76 Ranking Points moving up 9 spots to World No.15.

Reed closed with a 2-under 69 finishing at 16-under 268 winning for a fifth time on the PGA Tour, taking his total no of victories to 7, which includes 1 Major and a WGC.

Ancer played bogey-free over the final 12 holes, and his birdie on the 17th gave him hope. But his approach to the 18th came down below a ridge, and his long birdie putt to force a playoff went some 6 feet by the cup. He made that to finish alone in second, his best PGA TOUR finish.

That was enough to send him from No. 67 to No. 8, with more perks that he could count.

Ancer is a lock to make it to the TOUR Championship in two weeks and he wrapped up a spot on the International team for the Presidents Cup, making him the first Mexican in the event.

"When I finished, I was a little down because I didn't get it done and I feel like I played good," Ancer said. "But then getting all this news that I'm going to the TOUR Championship, playing all the majors, going to Masters, all that, I was like, 'Man, this is not too bad.' I'm extremely happy, proud of the way I performance. I still obviously want that W, but really proud with all the boxes that I checked off today."

Challenge Tour – Made in Denmark Challenge - Presented by FREJA

After picking up his second win in three starts at the Made in Denmark Challenge – Presented by FREJA, Calum Hill jumps into the World’s Top 200 for the first time at a career best of World No.137.

The Scot’s second win of the season sees him shoot to second on the season-long Rankings and his confidence will be sky-high as he returns to the venue where he picked up his first Challenge Tour title in 2018.

The only man above Hill in the Rankings is fellow two-time winner Antoine Rozner. The Frenchman raced to the Number One spot with back-to-back victories at the Challenge de España and the Prague Golf Challenge in May to all but confirm his promotion to the European Tour as one of the 15 graduates.

Rozner, 26, has come close to securing early graduation via the three-win rule on two occasions since his second victory, however he fell just short by coming fourth at the Italian Challenge Open Eneos Motor Oil and fifth at Made in Denmark Challenge – Presented by FREJA, a result which helped him consolidate top spot.

Veteran Richard Bland, who is competing in his first full Challenge Tour season since 2004, currently sits marginally behind Hill in third place on 87,606 points, while Matthew Jordan is fourth following an incredible breakout season.

Nordic Golf League - Landeryd Masters

Victor Theandersson from Ekerum Golf Club took his first victory as a professional at Landeryd Masters on the Nordic Golf League.

Despite an impressive closing round of 63 strokes, was joined by home player Gabriel Axell and Linus Lilliendahl from Högbo Golf Club in a play off.

Victor's 63-round round was eventful and featured six birdies, an eagle and a hole-in-one.

-It was great fun, good games and so I had some flow too. This is the best lap I have made at a competition and a hole-in-one is always fun too, says Victor Theandersson with a smile after the awards ceremony.

EuroPro Tour - The Nokia Masters

James Ross has won The Nokia Masters at Mannings Heath Golf & Wine Estate after an exhilarating final day of action.

Going into the final day trailing by one shot, Ross of Royal Burgess Golf Club posted a final round of 71 (-1) to clinch victory from under the nose of playing partner Calum Fyfe and amateur Bradley Bowden who tied for second on -12.

Ross who is getting married three weeks today said: “It was very tough. I managed to stay patient I thought. I had no real idea what the scores were, to be honest up until the 13th. I knew that the guys in our group were all kind of similar. It certainly wasn’t easy out there.”

“You’d think so (enjoying playing in heavy winds), being from Scotland but I’ve never been a fan of playing in serious wind like that. I guess I will like it now!”

Fyfe (Golfing4Life) recovered from going one over on the front nine to finish two under for a round of 70 where Bowden who finished third at the English Amateur Championship last week sat after superb rounds of 63, 71 and 70.

Daniel Young (Kingsbarns Pro Academy) kept pace for large parts going tied for the lead at several points going one-under for his final knock to be fourth in his first turn out since victory in The Eagle Orchid Scottish Masters.
