Both players had finished 17 under par at Diamond Country Club, but Lynn needed three shots to find the green on the first extra hole and when he two-putted Lara was able to win with a par. Lara rises to World Number 213 a jump of 156 positions.

Yuta Ikeda captured his second win of the Japan Golf Tour season with a one-stroke victory at the ANA Open. The 24-year-old fired a five-under-par 67 at Sapporo Golf Club to edge out South Korean Kim Do-hoon (63) and American Jay Choi (66). The win takes Ikeda to World Number 57 an improvement of 7 spots.

This week's other winners were Hunter Haas at the Albertsons Boise Open Pres'd by Kraft on the Nationwide Tour, Thaworn Wiratchant at the Yeangder Tournament Players Championship on the Asian Tour and Carlos del Moral at the M2M Russian Challenge Cup on the Challenge Tour.
