Robert Allenby produced a fine performance at Royal Queensland Golf Club to successfully defend the Australian PGA Championship by one stroke over fellow Victorian Geoff Ogilvy and the veteran Craig Parry. Allenby maintains his position as the leading-ranked Australian golfer and moves up to No.22 in a World Ranking week that is completely focused on Australian golf.

Geoff Ogilvy finished in second position and he moves up 15 places to No 149 in the world and Craig Parry makes some progress back towards the Top-150 by moving up 11 spots to No.156.
